When everything goes according to plan, traveling seems like a breeze. But what if complications arise and suddenly the whole vacation goes in a different direction? Or how to deal with a canceled flight in Rome when you have to be in Ireland the next day. You will hear all about travel fails and lessons learned from them in Zuzka Zvěřová’s lecture „What travel fails have taught me“.

After graduating from high school in Teplice, Zuzka headed to Maastricht University in the Netherlands, where she studied European Public Health and European Public Affairs. After graduating, her passion for global issues led her to international organizations – she interned and worked for the EU and the UN in Switzerland and Cambodia, and represented young Czechs at UN forums around the world as a Young Delegate of the Czech Republic to the UN.

Work in Greece

The Work in Greece programme enables Czechs and Slovaks to gain valuable work experience in this popular destination. If you want to work in a luxury hotel right by the beach, spend your free days on the beach or travelling around the Greek islands, meet people from all over the world and improve your English, then this programme is for you.

You can work in Halkidiki or on the islands of Corfu or Kos in one of the hotels of a luxury hotel chain. These are popular tourist destinations, full of beautiful sandy beaches, historical monuments and tavernas where you can taste great Greek cuisine.

You can spend your summer in Catalonia, Mallorca, or in a hotel on the beach in the Valencia area. During your stay, you’ll meet people from all over the world, spend free days on the beach and improve your English and Spanish, not just your Spanish, thanks to a diverse international clientele.
